Customer Service Clerk HomeCare Hospice job - MaineGeneral Health - Waterville, ME
Operates high volume switchboard which includes accepting and properly transferring all daytime calls that come into the office. Position answers inquiries, greets, escorts and/or directs visitors and employees in a warm and courteous manner and maintains professional frontline image. This position ensures that the flow in the office is smooth and barrier free, including ensuring that office supplies are stocked and present, that office equipment is in working order and ready for use. Utilizes office equipment to maintain medical records. Demonstrates excellent customer service skills in all interactions. Qualifications/Competencies: High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) Associate degree in business or related field preferred Minimum of two years office work preferred Healthcare experience preferred Working knowledge of medical terminology and medical records Proficiency in basic computer skills including Microsoft word and excel Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities Excellent telephone skills and ability to communicate positively and calmly in stressful situations Position requires travel between offices and MaineGeneral sites Problem solving and excellent communication skills |
