_As winter and the holiday season approaches, Bridges is looking for a few extra caring individuals to pick up regular and fill in shifts with our existing clients. Candidates should be reliable, mature and work well independently. Because this position involves filling in for planned and unplanned absences in the greater Augusta area, someone who has reliable transportation, is easy to reach via phone and has open availability is a must. Shifts that are offered may range from 1 hour to 12 hours and might be days, nights, or weekends.

While working with clients in their home you will be providing any and/or all of the following services:
Personal Assistance – assisting consumers with their personal hygiene including bathing, dressing, skin care and toileting. Homemaker Services – assisting with tidying the consumers home including housekeeping, meal planning, and meal preparations. Activities Assistance – engaging the consumer in meaningful activities, going for walks, playing cards, creating rewarding bonds by visiting with consumers in a 1-on-1 setting. Transportation – taking consumers out grocery shopping, to appointments, accompanying on outings or simply going on a joy ride. This is a very rewarding position. You are what allows the client to stay in their beloved home rather than entering an Assisted Living facility or a Nursing Facility.

Previous work in a similar field or life experience in your personal life is preferred but not required.

Starting pay is $10.00/hour and determined on experience
