Catholic Charities Maine Independent Support Services is seeking paraprofessionals throughout Maine to provide homemaker services to assist individuals to remain independent in their homes. Homemakers assist with routine housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping and other errands, meal prep, and incidental personal care. Work with a variety of clients, including seniors, adults with psychiatric, intellectual or physical disabilities and clients of DHHS Protective Services. Pay is $9.000-$10.00 per hour. (Please note: although positions are listed as on-call, consistent employment schedules are anticipated) . Must have a high school diploma or a GED. The ability to print neatly and maintain work records is required. Preference will be given to those with experience serving seniors and persons with disabilities, and practical experience in tasks of general housekeeping and home management. We are now seeking applicants in: Readfield, Monmouth, Mt. Vernon, So. China, Waterville, Winslow, Fairfield, Benton and Litchfield in Kennebec County.
