Job Description

• Directs and administers the housekeeping program to keep the institution clean and orderly.


• Patient Ambassador will visit newly admitted patients on a daily basis, greets patients and their visitors, and give them information in regards to how to contact EVS department.


• Relays patient complaints to the appropriate department and follows up with the patient to ensure needs have been satisfied.


• Interacts proactively with all support departments to obtain best results for all concerned.


• Patient Ambassador remains on inpatient units throughout their shift.


• Enforces the consistency of the patient Experience amenities program and ensures that housekeeping staff has adequate supplies on inpatient units.


• Demonstrates a proactive and enthusiastic attitude in striving for and meeting all patient satisfaction goals and objectives.


• Corrects or reports possible accident hazards.


• Acts as positive role model.


• Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies (CMS, JCAHO).


• Increases department patient satisfaction performance by promoting and monitoring patient satisfaction progress and exploiting success.


• Schedule is subject to change depending on facility needs.

Salary: $30.00 /hour
