(China) Responsibilities:
Supervise and set directions to the Finance and Accounting function and is the chief financial spokesperson for the organizationAssist in performing all tasks necessary to achieve the company’s objective and help execute staff succession and growth plansReport directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on all strategic and tactical matters as they relate to cash flow management, tax planning and management, budget and financial control / reporting, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs and the securing of new fundingEnsure accounting systems are in accordance to established accounting standards. Monthly and quarterly financial reporting. Cost / performance analysis, cost and credit control management. Provide financial analyses and recommendations for management decision. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial reports and information.Requirements:
Degree in Accountancy or a recognized professional qualification (ACCA). At least five years of financial experience and management experience with the day-to-day financial operations, preferably with exposure and experience in listing a company in China.Well averse in PRC accounting standards, prior work experience with Big 4 accounting firms and/or IPO experience added advantage.Possessed hands-on experience in finance department operation in China.Sound knowledge of accounting, taxation standards and relevant statutory requirements. Good communication skill bi-lingual, fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese languages - to liaise with Chinese speaking associates.High level of problem solving skills and an analytical mindset. • Strong leadership & supervisory skills and a team player.Interested candidates who enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment are invited to send in a detailed resume (stating current and expected salaries) and a recent photograph online.
