Role: Business Development Manager – IT Security sales
Client: Leading European IT Security vendor
Location: Beijing, China – Covering mainland China
-£60-70,000 basic salary + commission & benefits
**This role is based permanently in Beijing and only candidates fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin) will be considered**

With over 25 years of experience this company is an industry pioneer. They have a number of offices throughout Europe and maintain partnerships in Europe, Asia and America.
The Role:
As an international Business Development Manager Sales (SI/OEM technology) you will be responsible for:
– Identifying, screening & negotiating contracts with security hardware & software vendors (build and grow OEM licensing revenues),
– Achieving budgeted sales targets by consolidating existing SI/OEM accounts in Mainland China, explore further opportunities in existing accounts and also “hunt” for new business,
– Identifying new prospects in Mainland China, set up target account list and establishing new OEM technology accounts,
– Initiating, setting up, developing and maintaining long term strategic business partnerships with the new clients,
– Providing constant feedback to Product Management to further influence and develop the product roadmap by collecting, screening and analyzing the market and the competition,
The person:
*Educated to degree level,
*Solid mix of corporate direct sales, technical background and online sales experience,
*Experience in closing long sales cycles, high value deals,
*Ability to perform sales and marketing presentations/trainings to Executives,
*”Hunter” attitude and willingness for sustainable partnerships over time,
*Strong communication skills over the phone, one-to-one and in smaller groups,
*IT software infrastructure experience,
*Fluent in Chinese/Mandarin and English (reading, writing, speaking), additional European language is a plus,
After a short training period in Europe, travel of 50-60% throughout Mainland China is requested.
