Education Services Support Specialist/API Administrator job - Inland Hospital - Waterville, ME

Internal posting for current Acadia Hospital employees.

Temporary full time, June – September, 2015 –


The Education Support Specialist is responsible for clerical needs of the department.


Duties include scheduling rooms, the preparation of orientation materials, managing phone calls, entering employee data into database, filing, ordering and stocking supplies, assisting employees, and maintaining the orderly operation of the department.


The API Administrator oversees the API scheduling system.


This includes training staff how to use the system as well as working with unit managers and department heads and regularly responding and attending to needs within this system.


Related experience in a medical office practice.


Knowledge of psychiatric and medical records terminology.


Special skills include the ability to work with IBM compatible computers for word processing and spreadsheet functions, photocopiers, telephones, Dictaphone and other office equipment.


Cognitive requirements include the ability to analyze a situation and make a sound decision on the best way to arrive at a solution.


Must be able to address a multiplicity of tasks simultaneously.


The ability to work with both clinical and non-clinical personnel is required.


Must possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
