Assembler I - Goodwill Industries of Northern New England - Augusta, ME

Job Summary:
1) Assembles products according to customer specifications.

2) Represents the Agency in all interactions with other members of the Goodwill community and with the general public, supporting the agency Vision of creating sustainable communities that thrive through the fullest participation of their diverse residents.

3) Furthers the organizational commitment to triple bottom line results: integrating social, economic and environmental goals into thinking, planning and actions.

Essential Functions:
Communication:
Regularly checks in with supervisor for progress updates and feedback for growth.

Knowledge:
Checks materials and determines quality according to standards.

Administration:
1. Counts product and puts it in racks, bags or boxes.

2. Assembles boxes to package products.

3. Applies labels to plastic bags or boxes.

4. Uses permanent marker to “ink” swabs to be included in testing kits.

5. Maintains a high standard of personal appearance.
