About the Role

Based in China, you will support the UK Quality team to ensure footwear across all categories is sourced and made in the best factories. Working with factories to implement processes to improve the manufacturing and durability of footwear, and ensure product arriving into the business can be allocated upon receipt and exceeds customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the technical input and quality control relating to the development and manufacture of products and packaging to achieve standards acceptable to the New Look customer and comply with relevant legislation.


• Liaise with suppliers to ensure that all new products are developed are engineered within the technical standards acceptable New Look


• Assist in evaluating new materials and where appropriate provide advice on manufacturing considerations for potential new products.


• Ensure that all procedures, practices and disciplines, as required by the customer, in order to achieve the necessary technical quality levels are adhered to.


• Monitor the rate of RTMs and AQL performance and ensure the manufacturing rejects are kept to a minimum to reduce and maintain the level of internal rejects and reworks.


• Evaluate suitability of raw materials and components and improve where possible without affecting price.
