Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international producer looking to add a Head of Coal China.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Develop and maintain strong relationships for thermal coal within Utilities and cement producers in China


• Negotiate with regional suppliers, producers and end users.


• Oversee the entire coal operation within China and near region.


• Supervise sourcing, stockpiling, logistics and trading operations


• Report into the Global Head.

Key Qualifications / Experience

• 10+ years in commercially focused coal trading roles.


• Strong links into regional utilities companies


• Fluent in Mandarin and English, other regional dialects are advantageous


• Strong negotiation, logistics and operations experience.


• Located in either Shanghai or Beijing / happy to relocate.
