Skilled Laborer II - Augusta Parks & Public Works - City of Augusta - Augusta, ME

This is a shared position for

the Department of Public Works and the Bureau of Parks, Cemeteries, and

Trees. Duties involve semi-skilled and physically demanding work in the

maintenance and landscape of City parks, cemeteries, and grounds, snow

removal of walks and roads, and Public Works construction and maintenance

projects.

Hours of employment are

primarily Monday through Friday, however candidates must have the ability to

work non-standard hours for snow removal operations, city functions or in an

emergency.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Pay scale is AFSCME unit range B3: $13.94 to

$15.66 per hour.

Candidates who do not have a current CDL

may be classified as Skilled Laborer I until a CDL license is obtained. Pay

range for Skilled Laborer I is $12.78 to $14.37 per hour.
