Commercial Application Engineer - Pressure Job (Shanghai, ShangHai, China)

Commercial Application Engineers (CAE) work in the Commercial Operations function, reporting to a Commercial Leader. CAEs manage and negotiate technical risk within the Inquiry to Order (ITO) process. CAEs are responsible for the technical content, technical cost and technical risk mitigation of customer Request for Quotations related to L2 and L3 projects. Principal work activities relate to the R1 to R3 phase of ITO model - from the Bid Go/No go R1 review decision with Sales to the R3 review handoff to Project Management.

CAEs use their knowledge of mechanical, controls and/or electrical engineering together with project experience and deep P&L product domain knowledge to develop engineering and installation work scopes, schedules and cost that facilitate total scope project offerings. They produce priced Bills of Material that meet customers' technical requirements and end-destination technical regulations. In providing their deliverables, CAEs work with Sourcing, Sales, Field Applications Engineers/Technical Sales Engineers, Project Engineers and customers as required. Tactical guidance for a given RFQ is provided by a Commercial Manager who will have overall responsibility for receiving internal approval to issue the completed technical and commercial* quotes package within the required timescale.

(*Commercial Terms and Conditions for a given quote fall outside the scope of the CAE. Costing for any third party content is negotiated by sourcing).

The PB level CAE is responsible for defined work or projects up to those of moderate complexity. In this role you will follow an individual work plan and meets day-to-day short-term objectives and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.

- Communicate individual customer requirements for Sales Manager in regards to design and quotation

- Communicate requirements for order fulfillment to sourcing and projects operations teams

JD for Radio Network Design and Optimization Service Engineer

Job Objective:

To be responsible to provide Radio Network related service delivery to operators/customers. Typical services include Radio Network Design, Performance Optimization, Technical Solution Consulting, Audit & Benchmarking, and Technique Trials. To ensure the optimal service delivery and achieve customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

The main responsibility as Radio NW Service Engineer is to complete services solution to meet customers’ business needs. It includes all Radio NW aspects from beginning to end, Radio NW Planning and Radio NW Optimization. Radio NW Service Engineers are also responsible for providing Business development and Sales Support within area of Service Engineer.

Qualifications:

Performance Analysis and Optimization (Air Interface Protocol analysis, Voice, CS, PS) Minimum a Bachelor of Science certificate in Telecommunications / Computer Area or equivalent. Excellent English skills, both oral and writing abilities are mandatory. Good communication skills with ability to work in multi-ethnical environment. Willing to travel for short or long assignments, willing to work hard for the company and personal development Good adaptability and quick learner of new technical knowledge is essential.
