Corporate Application Engineer

Job Duties:
1. Continue to the success of Mentor Graphics by increasing customer satisfaction and productivity with Calibre Resolution Enhancement Technology (RET) products.

2. Assist customers in deploying Calibre RET tools to solve manufacturing/design challenges at leading edge manufacturing facilities.

3. Tracking and updating customer issues using defined Mentor Graphics processes and tracking tools.

4. Communicating customers’ technical requirements as well as customer issues to the Product Team. This will include an understanding and communication of the urgency and impact of these issues to the product and sales teams. 5. Managing and coordinating the technical relationships between customers and the Mentor Graphics.

Job Qualifications:
1. Degree or Master in relevant field with preference major in Electrical Engineering or Physics

2. Minimum 1 year experience in foundries tapeout flow integration/automation is preferred

3. Familiar with Calibre DRC and SVRF rule language

4. Familiar with Calibre OPC/RET is a plus

5. Candidates should have a working familiarity of Unix and Linux OS.

6. Proficiency in Unix shell scripting and Tcl programming is a plus

7. Strong analytical and problem solving skills to identify problems and provide solutions

8. Good relationship building skills and fluent speaking/presentation skills in English

9. With experience in technical support is a plus.
