For more information, visit the company's website at www.ge.comU.S. State, China or Canada Provinces: The Sourcing Program Leader will work as the local owner for sourcing for all commodity(s) and Product lines for GE VG SH plant. These responsibilities include the development, communication and execution of strategies to ensure realization of the business objectives, which includes supplier negotiations, contracts, and localization strategies.? Be responsible for the overall sourcing activity in GE VG SH site: compliance, quality, delivery & cost.
? Lead team of Buyers/Sourcing specialist (direct & indirect) and SQEs to support daily fulfillment need in factory together with planners.
? Build up & monitor sourcing process to ensure compliance of sourcing activity.
? Drive improvements in sourcing processes including escalations due to delivery/quality issues, invoicing/payables issues, and database management.
? Lead local team and work closely with global sourcing team to continously improve the supplier performance in quality/delivery/cost.
? Lead the development & execution of the sourcing strategies that delivers a competitive advantage. Drive the strategic supplier initiatives including, supplier selection, development, and supplier consolidation to ensure sourcing optimization and overall supplier performance, as well as getting the synergy in O&G sourcing scale with reginal teams.
? Drive localization projects in China, actively work with cross funtional team such as engineering and manufacturing for DMP.
? People development: plan / develop / organize team structure to guarantee the business development need is met. Build up the stronger capacity/capability with team members.
? Support factory NPI projects and ICFC.
? Prepare GPB/S2/OP Plan.
? Function cost control.? Bachelor's degree or above
? 5-7 years of relevant work experience (commercial, sourcing, manufacturing or supply chain), >2 years in manager/leader position
? Good English and Chinese communication skills
? Strategic thinker with proven negotiation skills
? Strong quantitative and analytical skills
? Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
? Ability to work effectively in an autonomous environment and in a matrix orgnization
? Ability to influence leaders and individuals across organization levels; manage effectively in ambiguous situations.
? Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and/or initiatives simultaneously with the team
? Strong work ethic & self starter with proven ability to engage across functions
? Passion for excellence with high integrity, commitment to qualityAdditional Eligibility Qualifications: ? Major in technologe, Engineer, Business admin or Economic ? Prefer Minimum 5 years experience in Sourcing functions >2 years of (prefered), commercial, sourcing logistic or supply chain experience in the field of Drilling and/or surface production. ? Experienced with principles and procedures related to contract terms and conditions. ? Able to travel ? Strong leadership skills ? Experience with Oracle/SAP etc. ? Excellent proficiency with office computer applications i.e. Excel, Access,Word, Powerpoint
