Job Description for Warehouse Crew

Title of Position: Warehouse Crew

Reports to: Director of Operations & Warehouse Supervisor

Overall Responsibilities:

Assist with receiving, packing, and shipping products within the Crown O’Maine warehouse. Perform any tasks assigned by Warehouse Supervisor related to facility upkeep and adherence to food safety plans.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Order fulfillment and accurate sales order notation.


• Unloading trucks, storing items appropriately, and receiving incoming product with proper temping and documentation.


• Stocking and rotating product, as directed by Warehouse Supervisor or designated lead.


• Proper packing and pallet-stacking of product to ensure safe transit; includes shrink wrapping pallets.


• Adherence to food handling and food safety program, including worker health and hygiene requirements, proper cold chain maintenance, food safety documentation, and sanitary food handling procedures.


• Perform any tasks assigned by Warehouse Supervisor related to facility upkeep and adherence to food safety plans.


• Participate in designated improvement projects in a supportive manner.


• Loading trucks, when required.

Term of Employment:
Year Round and/or Seasonal, and Three-Quarter and Part Time

Qualifications:

• Good attitude, ability to work with others or individually.


• Physically capable of lifting 50#, working on concrete floors, and taking care of personal needs to maintain good health in a warehouse environment.


• Attention to detail.


• Ability to use Quickbooks and office technology a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $11.00 /hour

Required experience:

• Experience in packing/receiving/inventory control a plus: 1 year

Required education:

• High school or equivalent
