Provides hands on personal care and maintains a hygienic, uncluttered environment which enables Home Health and Hospice clients to live safely in their homes.
Qualifications/Competencies:
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must be listed as active on the State of Maine CNA Registry
- BLS required within 3 months of hire; Maintains BLS certification
- State approved Nurse Aide training, and is in good standing on the State of Maine nurse aide registry
- One year experience in hospital or nursing home preferred.
- Proficiency in a suite of Microsoft Office applications
- Must be self-directed and have strong verbal and oral communication skills
- Displays tact and good judgment in dealing with patients and families
- Displays neat appearance and practices good personal hygiene
