Our client, a world's leading provider of motion systems to global customers in the automotive, power tools and home appliances, is looking for a high calibre candidate for the following position:
Director, Q&R
(China - Shenzhen)
Responsibilities: - Establish & manage a Quality Assurance Function in mass production, development, system & general support; - Develop Quality System & Quality plans while providing leadership role in the development of Quality Managers & staffs in the organization.
- Lead projects in continuous improvement, eg lean, Gemba kaisen, 6 sigma, etc
- Drive defects down and monitor KPI
- Recruit, train and develop quality people in C&S (Component & Service) BURequirements:
- Degree or Master in Engineering with min. 15 years years of experience
- Very familiar with ISO9001, TS16949, RoHS, lean manufacturing, 6 sigma, gemba kaisen etc
- Preferable to have knowledge of different types of materials, eg. Mateallic, magnetic, plastic and manufacturing process
- Knowledge in motor manufacturing and electonics components
- Strong thought leader and is a change agent to drive change program
- Proficient in English & Chinese languages.
- 5-day stationed in Shenzhen Plant
