Our client, a world's leading provider of motion systems to global customers in the automotive, power tools and home appliances, is looking for a high calibre candidate for the following position:
Senior Quality Manager
(China - Shenzhen)
Responsibilities: - Establish & manage a Quality Assurance Function in mass production, development, system & general support; develop - Quality System & Quality plans while providing leadership role in the development of Quality Managers & staffs in the organization.
- Provide ongoing support to both internal & external customers for Quality & Reliability concerns; develop & implement & manage system of KPI for management efficiency & drive continuous improvement activities using Six Sigma, Gemba Kaizen, TCM & other similar strategies.
- Resource Planning & Management of Quality Functions to achieve BI set quality targets & objectives.
- Lead resolution of customer quality issues and continuously work on improvement to achieve customer satisfaction.
- Performance monitoring & appraisal for Quality Staff’s mid year & year end.
- Monthly Quality Results Reporting to Management.
- Gemba Kaizen on Quality Improvement Program.
- Communication at all levels with cross functions to resolve quality issues.
- Establish / drive execution or implementation of Quality process and Quality Improvement Plan.
- Develop Quality Staff in Quality Skill and Knowledge.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in an Engineering discipline required.
- 11+ years experience in Automotive Manufacturing Quality.
- Minimum 12 years working experience in large multi-national automotive components manufacturing as a Quality Manager or higher.
- Hands-on experience in quality improvement together with customers, suppliers or internal staffs.
- Experienced in setting up Quality Function/System/Department in similar quality system in automotive environment.
- Working experience in all key quality tools, e.g. Control Plans, FMEA, Six Sigma, 8D, PPAP, APQP, MSA, QC Circles and so on.
- Excellent communication, analytical & leadership skills.
- Proficient in English & Chinese languages. Knowledge in other major foreign languages would be advantageous.
- 5-day stationed in Shenzhen Plant
