Sterilization Assistant job - MaineGeneral Health - Augusta, ME

Minimum 1 year experience preferred

The person in this position is responsible for the disassembly, cleaning, and decontamination of all reusable medical supplies, surgical instrumentation, case carts, and patient care equipment from all areas of the Medical Center . The responsibility includes the appropriate handling and cleaning of delicate and expensive OR devices. Consistently maintains infection control and safety standards. Constantly adjusts workflow to meet changing needs of the Operating Room and other patient care areas

Requirements:
High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) required

One year of experience preferred Basic computer skills preferred
