Vending Route Driver job - Pine State Trading Co (A leader in Warehousing, Distribution and Servicing) - Augusta, ME

Under general supervision of the Vending Driver Supervisor, drives established routes to service, maintain, clean and supply a variety of vending machines for food, and beverage products. The Vending Route Driver also Empties machines of cash and accounts for monies received, loads the truck to transport to customer accounts and maintains an accurate inventory to service the accounts as needed. This position will start out of Augusta and service the western Maine area.

Responsibilities :
Ensures delivery vehicle is stocked with necessary vending supplies and equipment prior to leaving on established routes.
Follows route to deliver product to vending machines.
Opens up machines.
Takes inventory of vending products.
Performs routine repairs and maintenance to machines and ensures they are in clean and working order.
Observes equipment for signs of vandalism and notifies supervisor of equipment needing major repairs.
Receives money from machines, cashes up and prepares related records.
Responsible for accurate and timely recording of machine mete readings.
Issues refunds following established company policy.
Performs customer service functions to establish and maintain positive customer relations.
Resolves complaints related to vending machines operations within scope of authority.
Ensures that stock at the depot is enough to replenish customer and communicates to home office with regards to replenishments.
Other job duties as assigned related to vending.

Job Requirements:

Valid state driver’s license is required with clean driving record a must with excellent driving skillsExcellent customer service/communication skills
Must be detailed oriented and highly organized
Be able to work independently
Must have good mathematical skills
Must have good troubleshooting skills to be able to perform simple repairs
