Maintenance Shop Foreman job - Cianbro - Pittsfield, ME

Job Responsibilities:
Assist maintenance shop supervisor in the day to day operation of the shop and the personnel.

Check over and list defects on each unit returned for repairs.

Perform a quality check on all units before shipment.

Order all necessary parts to repair the equipment after the initial inspection. Have appropriate personnel return all parts not used after repairs are completed.

Follow-up on back orders and delivery dates.

Complete activity plans and communicate the plan with the mechanics.

Qualifications / Requirements:
5 years of mechanical experience with a wide array of construction equipment.

Prior experience supervising up to 10 technicians in a fast paced shop environment.

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and communicate in a timely, effective manner.

Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication.

Class II driver’s license is preferred.

Computer skills required.
