— Operates and monitors machinery which distil, filter, separator, heat or refine
chemicals, to blend, mix, process wide range of chemical products.

Controls the preparation, measuring and feeding of raw materials and
processing agent such as filtering media into plant.
— Handover and takeover of plant status, routine check on plant, ensure all
bleeders and vents are close.
— Report any leaks, deviation, and abnormality in the plant.
— Console man to handover and takeover of plant status, check on MOS,
screen through all pages for abnormality and check status of Fire panel.
— To report any deviation or unsafe conditions to Team Leader.
—
Controls process start-up and shut-down in accordance to work instructions,
ensure no deviation on process n safety.
— Line up for tank transfer and monitor transfer.
— Monitor report and intervene any unsafe conditions and situations.
— Assess the area or equipments before signing the permit assessor portion
—
To prepare and be a confined space Safety assessor.
— Raise notification on MOS, safety critical equipments and MOC/PSSR.
— Verifies equipment for malfunctions, carrying out routine operating tests and
arranging for maintenance.
— Monitors reaction processes and transfers of products in conformance with
safety procedures.
—
Takes samples and performing routine chemical and physical tests of
products and recording production data.
— Prepare equipments for maintenance, LOTO, Check for leaks and gas test,
De LOTO, AFTT, test run and put equipment back in service.
— Take product samples in accordance to Safety.
— Response to process upsets, leaks and emergency. ( ERT team )
— Process Monitoring and troubleshooting of equipments.
— To support other departments and shortage of man power in/other shift.
Required Experience
NITEC in Chemical Process Technology with 1 to 5 years working experience in Chemical /Pharma, Oil and Gas Manufacturing Industries.
Able to work shifts
