Sr. Manager, Social Responsibility (26748166)



Job Description

The position is placed in the ‘Social Responsibility’ team. The key responsibility of this team is to define and drive the direction for client on social and human rights and ensure a robust governance and compliance framework to minimize operational risks and utilize leadership opportunities related to social and human rights.The team comprises 5 individuals working on Environment, Health and Safety (EHS), Responsible Sourcing and Human and Labour rights.


‘Social Responsibility’ is placed within Corporate Affairs (CA). CA is responsible for developing and maintaining client’s sustainability strategy, corporate communication work and strategic stakeholder engagement.


– A minium of 5 years of experiende on working with Corporate Social Responsibiity (CSR) and social compliance in China within a corporate context, preferably an international company.
– Demonstrated experience in driving change management processes in complex organisations, involving many different stakeholders.
– Experience with social responsibility training, engagement and capability development.


– Substantial knowledge on international human and labour rights and international CSR standards and guidelines.


– Substantial knowledge on local labour rights regulation and local practices and challenges on labour rights issues as well as the broader Chinese CSR agenda.


– Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and English
