NUTRITIONAL SERVICE ASSISTANT job - Sebasticook Valley Hospital - Pittsfield, ME
To assist with providing quality food service to all customers in a safe and sanitary manner.
B. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (Essential Job Functions):
· Meet with patient regarding menus
· Deliver Food
· Set up trays of food accurately
· Accurate stocking of food and supplies
· Wash dishes
· Equipment and Kitchen sanitation
· May assist with inventory control and receiving
· Responsible for accurate and timely documentation of temperatures, schedules, menus, inventory and equipment
· Maintain a safe environment which includes knowing and understanding hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
· Report and directly address identified environmental hazards when appropriate.
· Report and directly address violations of patient safety policy and/or protocol when involved or observed.
C. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Diploma preferred. Ability to read and write required.
Experience: Previous food service experience preferred.
Training: Will train positive and self motivated individuals.
Ability to positively interact with all customers and to be part of a team.
Licensure:
