Senior Quality Engineer, Hardware at Tchibo / CHINAJOBHUNTER

Tchibo Merchandising Hong Kong LP is a sourcing, procurement and quality service company for hardware and textile products serving the head office in Hamburg, Germany.

About this job:

Ensure the realization of the required quality during different sample stages and follow up technical requirements on samples in cooperation with testing laboratories
Give guidelines and advice to factories such as techniques, possible problems and materials use
Provide technical support during the production process in the factory to adhere the required quality for final goods
Coordinate and communicate quality issues among technical department in German headquarters, laboratory, HK merchandising teams and factories
Support and follow-up with supplier the product certification at nominated lab institutes

Requirements:

Degree holder in Manufacturing/Electronic Engineering, Quality Management or related disciplines
3-5 years of relevant experience in handling Coffee Capsules Machines is a MUST
In-depth understanding of manufacturing process and solid knowledge of materials and construction
Exposure in manufacturing company and buying office preferable
Good knowledge of European markets and international quality standard such as AQL
Team player with good communication and presentation skills
Strong sense of responsibility and good problem solving skills
Willing to travel and able to work independently
Good computer knowledge (MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
Fluent in written & spoken German and English
Candidate who is currently living in HK is preferred

Working Experience: 3-5 years
