Title: SR PR MGR- Southern China
Hiring Manager: SR DIR PR, GCR
Are you a Corporate Communications/Public Relations professional interested in an opportunity to join one of the most exciting and dynamic companies in China? Do you thrive on driving perception changing media coverage and working with some of the finest journalists, key opinion leaders and online media techniques?
Major Responsibilities:
Support business by developing communication plans in order to ensure a favorable media, customer and public perception of Microsoft in southern China; Implement PR plans and programs in an effective and efficient way; Handle and process media inquiries on company announcements and issues in order to communicate MS global, national and regional messages, clarify any possible misinterpretations; Establish, maintain and develop media networks including with international media, KOLs in order to ensure successful implementation of the regional PR plans; Support other business teams in southern China on PR projects by providing professional advice on planning and execution and offering field support in order to enhance PR efficiency and effectiveness; Manage the PR agency team in order to provide an efficient and effective implementation of the regional PR plan.
Reporting Relationship and Management Responsibility:
This position reports to Senior PR Director of Microsoft Greater China Region and manages and supervises PR agency in southern China.
Experience and Education Requirement:
Candidates must have at least 10 years of proven and solid PR experience, a passion for the positive impact of technology, strong project management, and exceptional communication skills. PR experience in a business environment, coupled with knowledge of commercial environment and basic knowledge of Microsoft products and services and the technology industry are strongly advised. University education, and MBA preferred.

Language Requirement:
Excellent English and Chinese language skills are required; Cantonese preferred
