Objective of the Position Be a key contributor in Strategic Partnership Group to drive outsourcing project management innovation, vendor development and business impact to Microsoft China. Key Responsibilities - Lead the China ITO outsourcing eco-system development by partnering with local governments, top ITO companies and Microsoft internal business and technical functions. - Initiate and manage strategic programs to increase value of SPG assets and make business impact. - Build and innovate on outsourcing vendor management service models and win internal BG sponsorships. - Manage and grow China onsite deliver center platform and provide high quality ITO services to various internal BGs. - Drive the growth of differentiated IT service capabilities among the preferred vendor base in China. - Manage a team of CSGs and build strong partnerships with internal functional groups such as sales & marketing, consulting services, product groups, procurement, IT, finance and RE&F. Position Requirements The successful candidate should have 1) 5 to 8 years of experiences in program / project management 2) Relevant experiences in managing offshore vendors or building external partnerships 3) 1 to 2 years of people management experiences in a team set up (FTE or Vendor). 4) 2 to 3 years product shipping experiences in multiple release cycles. 5) Have successful track records in leading a deliver team collaborating with developers and testers, managing customer satisfactions and building partnerships in a cross functional environment 6) Fluent English both in oral and writing. Conversational Chinese. The candidate must be 1) Self driven and have strong passion for offshore development and growing the China IT industry. 2) A strong strategic thinker, good business senses and can effectively deal with ambiguity. 3) Process driven. 4) Excellent in communication & cross-group collaboration. 5) Demonstrated maturity in fostering win-win relationships with both internal and external partners. - The candidate will be based in Beijing, China, and might need to travel between China and Redmond from time to time.
