Purpose:
To provide financial analysis and Support to Retail Sales & Marketing (RSM) Business ensuring all targets both Revenue and Contribution margin are met and exceeded. This is through insightful reporting, effective management of spend and providing robust forecasting processes ensuring at all times the business performance is known and understood.
This position offers a wide remit throughout the P&L with the opportunity to gain in-depth business knowledge and aim to drive further efficiencies in the way the business is run. He or she accounts China RSM GM as business partner.

Core Responsibilities:

Business Insight:

Providing financial leadership to profitably grow the China RSM business by driving insight and highlighting business opportunities (e.g. revenue growth, cost efficiencies, integrated solution offers) across all parts of the business, resulting in scorecard achievement. Driving corrective action to meet bottom line commitments where needed.
Leading financial performance management activities / infrastructure development for the subsidiary, through active involvement in the implementation and execution of the Rhythm of the Business (ROB).
Being a key contributor to the China RSM Leadership team agenda and taking the finance leadership of the China strategy initiatives for the RSM business growth in China
Being a key partner for the China RSM segment GM and their staff and the regional sales teams.
Driving local process improvement and business insight initiatives. Contributing and supporting worldwide initiatives.
Establishing a strong partnership with the GCR CCG finance team, Corp RSM Finance teams, Asia time zone leads and the Regional Operations Teams.

Business Excellence:

Own the Budget and Forecast cycles for the full P&L, ensuring they meet expectations
Manage all Monthly and Quarterly Business Review ensuring financial aspects delivered on time and accurate
Drive monthly reporting on state of the business highlighting key issues and trends
Ensure clean and accurate month end close cycles
Drive forecast accuracy through solid forecasting model and process.
Provide strong finance support and analysis to China RSM Business, including variance and trend analysis with in-depth identifications of root causes on the status of business. Ensure Quarterly Accountability for Revenue and CM is met.
Be the trusted advisor for all areas of control and compliance including Revenue recognition and new business models
Provide other financial support or co-ordination to the business and operation, such as incentive scheme, quota setting, etc.

Personal Leadership:

Lead the RSM finance team including support staff (contractors) to achieve the RSM business goals outlined above.
Actively participate in broader finance team activities and support to drive the collaborative, fun and team working culture.
Own the career development and succession planning of his/her team
Support the Sr. Controller in driving people agenda

Education and Qualifications:

University education, degree in finance and/or MBA preferred

Experience Level:

Minimum 8 years of experiences in finance.
Minimum 2 years in managerial positions
Preferred experience in IT Consumer/FMCG business

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

Fluent in English and Chinese, both written and oral
Good inter-personal skills
Excellent analytical skills
Strong user of Microsoft Office
Self-motivated and energetic, willing to contribute
