About the Client

Our client is a luxury service residence in Shanghai, that enjoys an excellent location. This boutique property that is mainly rooms-focused, is part of a bigger group. Due to internal promotion, they are looking for a General Manager to be based in Shanghai.

About the Role

In charge of a team of 70, the General Manager is responsible for the overall performance of this property. General Manager is expected to be a hands on person in the operation, an excellent team player and motivator and to be particularly strong in the rooms division. A strong General Manager has a good chance to take up additional responsibilities as the group grows.

What we're looking for

The ideal candidate is someone who has service residence / apartment experience in a senior position or someone who comes from a luxury hotel background. You must be a people's person and lead by example. Pre-opening experience or renovation experience is a major advantage. Excellent English communication skills is a must and Mandarin is highly preferred.

*China Experience is a MUST*
