[Full-time] Aftermarket Sales Manager, China Mining at AFT


Job Title: Aftermarket Sales Manager, China Mining
Reporting To: Managing Director

Main Purpose of the Role


To work within the mining sales team and to contribute strongly to the pre-sales, sales and contract execution process for aftermarket sales & services. On top of the requirement of networking with a range of internal and external stakeholders and implementing sales strategies, this position will also need to actively involving in updating the mining database to capture the missing M&K and overhaul sales opportunity and also provide valuable information in appropriate format to management team as required.


The role is based in Daliuta, but will require to travel to other locations in China where RMI product is being marketed and/or sold and also Armstrong facilities, agent offices or customer sites within China.


Principal Accountabilities


Ø Build project pipeline for service program sales based on RMI pump installation and service time


Ø Provide monthly demand forecast to build inventory in China


Ø Develop annual sales target for Service Modules & Kits and Service Program


Ø Develop and execute strategies for Service Modules & Kits and Service Program for China mining segment.


Ø Meet or exceed the annual sales target approved by management team


Ø Develop and execute key account strategy


Ø Develop and execute agent development plan


Ø Liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including customers, agents, colleagues external and internal organisations;
Ø Communicating with target audiences and managing customer relationships with the guidance from the direct manager;
Ø To maintain and update the customer mining database & service calendar for M&K and Overhaul project sales and to increase the visibility of the sales activities;
Ø Projects follow up, including, M&K, Overhaul & Service Exchange sales opportunities as required;
Ø Operate CRM on regular basic to update on sales activities and also provide weekly reports;


Essential Experience


Ø Familiar with China Coal Mining market with at least 5 years industry experience;
Ø Excellent knowledge on RMI mining products and markets;
Ø Experience on the RMI commercial process, including contract execution on aftermarket sales, domestic or international tender/contract, contract negotiation, technical liaison meeting;
Ø Excellent relationship with our key customers and their procurement departments and also ability to develop relationship with new customers and impress them;
Ø Experience on-site visit with customer and able to communicate effectively with customer and exchange ideas or execute instructions given by direct manager;
Ø Excellent reporting and documentations skills which can effectively report to management team to increase visibility of sales activities;
Ø Experience on project management, in RMI spare parts contracts, both domestic and international;
Ø Excellent skills on computer package – MS office, Photoshop and also technical translation;


Qualifications/Attributes


Ø Degree Level in English or Commercial area
Ø Confidence in customer facing and able to communicate effectively
Ø Good communicator in both English and Chinese, to ensure an effective dialogue with managers – both within the Company and with Customers.
Ø Remote liaison with UK & China Team
Ø Flexible to travel within China.
Ø Strong problem solving skills.
Ø Motivated and enthusiastic
