Database PL/SQL Developer

What you’ll do
You will work on the Credit Risk business domain.

• Responsible for project tasks including impact analysis, functional and technical design, coding, plan/coordinate/execute SIT
• Support and coordinate with User/IT streams for UAT execution, System Implementation/conversion.
• Be involved in IT Project document preparation (e.g. Functional & Technical Specification, Procedure & Release Notes)

Desired Skills and Experience
• Computer Science Education or Degree with technical emphasis and which stresses logical thinking / problem solving.
• Unix know-how including scripting (Sun Solaris) & software development experience with Perl scripting (UNIX & Window).
• Must have 3+ years of Oracle PL/SQL development experience with strong know-how with triggers, functions, stored procedures, views, performance tuning etc on the database level.
• Strong analytical, tuning and troubleshooting skills to resolve database- related issues.
• Familiar with migration activities in ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) and exception handling is a plus.
• Excellent knowledge in relational databases (Oracle) / query (PL/SQL); Performance Tuning.
• Good communication skills.
• Fluent in written & verbal English.
• Experience in RDMS – Sybase and Perl scripts are a plus.
• Excellent team player.
• General business knowledge in financial environment is an advantage.
