The incumbent will be based in the downtown Guangzhou office (the Greater China head office) under the leadership of GC HR Manager, and will work closely with GC HR Manager and people managers in core China function teams (plant operation, Sales, Finance) as a business partner to optimize people solutions by efficient and effective implementation on HR initiatives so to drive the business.
The incumbent will be responsible for providing high quality HR services in implementing the full spectrum of human resources services including the execution of recruitment, compensation & benefits, employee relations, performance management, and delivery of training events for China office and Conghua Plant. The incumbent will also be involved in human resources planning and forecast/ budgeting for China.
Reports to the Human Resources Manager, Greater China and has 1 employee under direct supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
Total Rewards
• Implementation of the processes in total rewards program which includes compensation related activities (market benchmark activities, e.g., Total Remuneration Surveys), employee benefits programs, work environment and employee recognition programs
• Support GC HR Manager to actively review total rewards program including pay structure and benefit programs which supports attraction and retention objectives
• Proactively review the administration of compensation related activities (including payroll, contribution of social insurance and housing fund) and employee benefits programs to streamline the C&B operation process and enhance process efficiency
Recruitment and Talent Selection
• Partner with hiring manager on talent selection and engage in recruitment process on contract negotiation and communication
Report corporate HR team on China labor statistics and IPR data
• Conduct analysis on recruitment fulfillment rate and turnover rate so as to well track attraction and retention
• Develop and maintain relationship with employment agencies, universities and other recruitment sources on need basis
• Provide HR on-boarding orientations to new hires on company policies and procedures
• Maintain employee personnel files and provide timely report to Finance/ government for the personnel statistic report
Learning & Development
• Work closely with GC HR Manager and people managers in identifying development gaps and needs for the commercial office/ plant and support the delivery of appropriate training solutions
• Assist GC HR Manager and relevant support from Talent Management in the delivery of the company training curriculum. This includes coordinate soft-skill training programs in alignment with associate performance related development needs, organize training events (venues, facilitators, and materials), and assist to conduct pre-training, evaluation and post-training activities
• Work closely with people managers to facilitate performance management related activities, e.g., build up buddy system and improve onboarding orientation for the plant


Requirements:
• 5 years in MNC/ multi-national environment
• Strong background/ exposure in China HR; well versed with local ordinances
• C&B or performance management experience a must
• University degree or above
• Knowledge of HRIS/ payroll system highly preferred
• English – must be strong in written English and capable to speak English
• Cantonese – ideally fluent but not a must
