Assistant Project Manager - XIN Development Group International - New York, NY

Real Estate Development Company is looking for an assistant project manager professional with at least 1 year of related experience who is bilingual in English and Chinese.

The main responsibilities include the following:

-Manage the China supply chain project related to purchasing building materials from Chinese suppliers; Must have experience in construction procurement
- Communicate with and coordinate Beijing team as well as U.S. designers, contractors and XIN management
-Assist the director of development and the project manager with daily management of construction projects
-Review architects drawings, submittals
-Assist with the coordination of contractors and subcontractors
-Assist with coordinating subcontractor activities, sequencing and scheduling
-Assist with coordinating with owner, vendors & representatives on site as well as with other third party consultants
-Project budget management
-Development and management of all project documentation
-Weekly summary of job site progress; Monthly Reconciliation reporting to senior management

The candidate must have a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in construction-related engineering, architecture, real estate or project management. Must have minimum of 1 year of related experience. Must be proficient in spoken and written Chinese and English.
