SPECIAL EVENTS REP - CHINESE NEW YEAR - ARIA Resort & Casino - Las Vegas, NV

Provide on-call administrative support for the Special Events team. Assist with event preparation, gift assembly, credential assembly, inventory, event registration, gift distribution, ticket distribution and collection, guest seating, and post-event clean-up. Answer phones, take messages, file, make pick-ups, deliveries, etc. Partner with Marketing to resolve guest issues during event functions. Ensure confidentiality of all information. Other job related duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Required: Excellent customer service skills. Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts. Professional appearance and demeanor. Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. Ability to lift or push heavy boxes and push or pull heavy carts. High School diploma and equivalent. Ability to effectively communicate orally in Mandarin Chinese and/or Cantonese Chinese. Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms. Preferred: Special Events, Front Desk, Casino Marketing, VIP Services or Table Games experience. Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
