Product Manager
Description
The position is responsible for:
•Managing the overall results of assigned product line or business portfolio, including product road maps, product life cycle management, pricing, revenue and profit
•Understanding overall market / customer needs, and developing needs-based segmentation
•Conducting VOC activities for new and renewed product projects
•Participating and assisting in strategic planning, identifying new growth opportunity and driving growth for targeted segments;
•Providing customer/sales support on new and existing products
•Developing sales tools such as product training materials and fight sheet, etc.
•Providing product training to internal/external customers/sales
Qualifications
•Education – Preferred B.S. in a Technical field, particularly in Electronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
•Work experience - Minimum of 7 years Marketing/Product Management experience expected; Preferred experience working for a large multi-national or national company
•Skills required
1.Active listening to deeply understand customers’ needs, particularly the needs behind needs ;
2.Strong economic and logic thinking to capture and develop value proposition;
3.Ability to multi-task & strong project management skills to meet target development cycle time;
4.Ability to influence and drive consensus within cross function team –including Sales, R&D, Procurement, Production, Logistic and Legal to meet project timeline;
5.Solid computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office
•Special qualifications, if any. Fluent language skills (both written and verbal) in Mandarin and English.
