Sales Area Manager China Heating Systems / Low Integrated

The Wire and Heating Technology product area is specialized in heating alloys, elements, modules and systems for industrial heating and high temperature applications. Wire and Heating Technology also leads the world within the fields of specialized welding, medical wires and profiles made of advanced alloys and of stainless special steels. Primary markets are the semicon and solar industries, oil and gas, chemical and petrochemical industries, power electronics and many other branches of industry in which high level requirements are essential as concerns high temperatures, corrosion and mechanical characteristics, as well as reliability.

We are looking for a Sales Area Manager China for Heating Systems / Low Integrated. Location for this position is Shanghai.

Key performance areas

As Sales Area Manager you have overall responsibility for the sales of Heating Systems products and services within your specified region within PA Wire and Heating Technology.

Your main responsibilities include:

Ensuring personal and team safety, promoting a "Safety First" culture
Responsibility for team performance through the use of effective and regular performance management
Contributing to the development of a strategy for Sales of Heating Systems products within the specified region and subsequently ensure execution of this strategy
Managing all sales activities and growing profitable order intake within your specified region; growth will be the key deliverable for Heating Systems
Working closely with the Marketing function to develop future business and product offerings
Establishing strong links between the customer and the sales, marketing and PU organizations to help integrate the business
Regularly monitoring and analyzing customer business & financial development
Responsibility for execution of the Step Change activities within area of responsibility
You report to the Global Sales manager Heating Systems / Low Integrated within PA Wire and Heating Technology. This position includes extensive travelling.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a degree in a business or engineering field or equivalent. You have a proven track record managing geographically remote and diverse teams and experience of value based selling, technical marketing and SMT Sales Tools. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken. Other language skills are advantageous, as is customer and business related network.

As a person you are dedicated, result oriented and with a genuine interest and passion for sales. The position requires strong leadership skills as well as business, technical and performance management skills. With a perceptive personality, you easily create a trusting environment for collaboration, team work and sharing of best practice between boarders. Further, you are also a great communicator, with the ability to inspire and motivate your team.
