Area Manager Job (Chengdu, SiChuan, China)

Essential Responsibilities: - Responsible for Water treatment solution sales in industries like Steel, Power, petrochemical, mining markets within assigned region.
- Follow company marketing strategies to drive profitable growth
- Identify business opportunities, develop customer relationship, and winning strategy
- Develop and execute territory sales plan to drive revenue growth; accurately forecast revenue
- Integrate sales strategy with regional situation to maximize GE's share in marketplace
- Work in a matrix environment with product management, commercial operation, engineering and technical support
- To organize, direct, supervise, and evaluate assigned regional personnel including Accounts Managers and to carry out the corporate goals at the customer level of:
1. Increased Sales;
2. Increased district gross profit;
3. Balanced diversification;
4. Decreased field sales costs as a percentage of sales.
- Responsible for staffing and should drive sales team effectively
- To plan, implement, and evaluate a program of personnel training and development within his/her sales and service to team.
- To maintain high morale and enthusiasm in his/her sales and Service Team,
- Ensure all opportunities meet GE Water & Process Technology business objectives for profitability, and assess the commercial and technical viability of the project. Determine and assess all risks, including financial, environmental, legal, political, etc.
- Recommend the appropriate structure for the project to company, including the need for local equity partners, structure of the construction contract, and O&M (operation & maintenance) aspects of the project.
