Development Engineer (Several Openings)

Job Description

Job involves some of the following tasks: Under guidance of Senior Engineers,
• Setup network environment for phone video, audio, and call features testing
• Helping to debug and reproduce customer and field issues on phone products and collect test traces.
• Responsibility also includes collecting test results/reports, filing and verifying bugs and update wiki page on that information.
• Manage assets for the team; including test bed, website, servers;
• Develop automation tools for Alpha system
• Web tool/script development;

Requirements

Meet or exceed most of the following requirements:

• Familiar with Windows OS, MS office;
• Familiar with Linux server and has script programming experience;
• Basic understanding for Data networking, e.g. TCP/IP, DHCP, CDP
• Basic experience in test case development for functional testing.
• Good communication skills and be comfortable interacting with software developer. Good English speaking and team-work spirit.
• Knowledge/experience with any of the following is a big plus:
1) CCIE, CCNA, CCNP, or other Cisco certifications, or Cisco switch/router configuration experience.
2) Image processing related knowledge.
3) Audio processing related knowledge.
4) Web tool/script develop experience.
5) VoIP related experience or knowledge.
