Location: Unity, ME Category: Support Staff Posted On: Tue Sep 29 2015 Job Description: Employee performs manual work necessary to maintain cleanliness, orderliness, appearance and sanitation inside and in the immediate area of College buildings and facilities. Assigned area may include offices, classrooms, laboratories, residence hall rooms, meeting rooms, lounges, bathrooms, corridors and stairwells. Work is performed within established routine procedures, and instructions received are verbal, written, and specific.This position is considered essential to the operation of the college and the employee is required to come to work during school weather closures, delays, or early releases. Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent with custodial experience preferred. Seeking applicants who possess a good attitude and who enjoy working with a student population. Ability to operate cleaning equipment and lift and/or move up to 100 lbs. with the use of equipment and/or other assistance. Valid drivers license with a good driving record. |
