Job Title: General Manager / CEO
- Accountable to the Director to lead the company and its employees on a day-to-day basis.
- Responsibility for managing both the revenue and cost elements of the company’s profit and loss statement.
- Oversee the marketing and sales functions, as well as the day-to-day operations of the company.
- Responsible for effective planning, coordinating, staffing, and decision making to attain desirable profit making results.
Overall Responsibilities:
Product Management
- Oversee the Product Portfolio and its information content.
- Support product development.
- Approve relevant product information, e.g. costing, basic specification, packaging design
- Demand Management
- Oversee the Sales Register.
- Maintain customer relations.
- Sales driven trajectory.
Supplier Management
- Oversee the Supplier Portfolio.
- Oversee the ordering process, and ensure operating procedures are met.
- Maintain supplier relations
- Encourage new supplier development.
- Approve relevant supplier pricing.
Financial Management
- Oversee the Financial Register.
- Oversee the Accounting system.
- Review the Management Accounts.
- Implement effective changes to create cost efficiencies.
- Regulate wage and bonus payments.
Operations Management
- Oversee the Shipping Schedule.
- Chair Executive Management Meetings.
- Chair Pre-Production Monthly Meetings.
- Approve internal process changes.
- Approve Topographic changes.
- Review and approve changes to the Organisational Structure.
Corporate Governance and Legal Management
- Oversee the maintenance of the Company’s Management Manual.
- Apply an ethical standard throughout the company.
- Ensure the proper use of the Company’s and Trade Union seals.
- Ensure the relevant employees approve the relevant documentation per the Company Authorisation Summary.
- Oversee contracts, lease agreements and insurance policies.
