Job Description – Chief Operation Officer, Shanghai

The position requires to work hand in hand with the CEO. The goal is to assist in the team management and development of the company. It merges some technical aspects to understand the technology behind our platform and sales aspects in order to present the solution to the prospects / customers and create more opportunities to bring in revenue.

Assists the CEO in management tasks
Measures effectiveness and efficiency of operational processes both internally and externally and finds ways to improve processes
Develops and implements growth strategies
Acts as a liaison between company and client for quality assurance
Provides mentoring to all employees, including management
Motivates staff to meet or surpass organisational and sales goals
Recruits skilled talent and keep the best employees
Oversees daily operations and makes adjustments as necessary
Evaluates newly implemented sales plans
Provides a system for employee salaries and benefits, and makes sure employees feel valued
Promotes communication between colleagues for the benefit of information flow and to curb any problems that arise

Rigorous mindset to track leads efficiently
Completely autonomous to work even if supervisor is not present at all times
Must be extremely motivated by joining a start-up
