Design Director

This client is one of the largest multi-national groups in Singapore with its core business in property development and property fund management. With its aggressive business expansion in China, they are now seeking for Design Director in their head office in Shanghai to look for their existing and upcoming luxury residential and commercial projects in China. This position will be station in Shanghai.

Responsibilities:

As the Design Director, you should provide pre-design concept and present ideas based on the objective, requirement and budget of a project. You will lead and monitor internal and external design teams for concept design, schematic design and engineering design.
You will coordinate with related department in construction design, landscape design and interior design during position, planning, construction, marketing and sales period.
You will also required to work with cost and procurement departments to identify qualified material, equipment, technical appliance and suppliers and draft design contract and tendering documents and organize tendering to identify qualified subcontractors

Requirements:

To apply this position you should have a degree in Architectural and other related degree with at least 15 years relevant experience design related experience in Design Institutes and real-estate companies; You should be familiar with related regulations and laws and understand the market demand and requirements in real-estate industry. You must be result-oriented, confident and excellent technical understanding with strong business acumen. Fluency in both written & spoken English and Chinese is also required. This position required to station in Shanghai, China.

Candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior Design Manager
