Chinese Translator - Trustforte Language Services - Manhattan, NY

Trustforte Language Services is looking for a fun, dedicated, hard-working individual to join our team as a Translator.

The job consists of translating the following into English:
Birth certificates, marriage certificates, death certificates, diplomas, transcripts, pay statements and contracts, and other types of documents (into a native language is a plus)

The individual must be able to work as a team, take initiative and be a quick learner.

The candidate MUST:
- Read/write/understand at least two languages (not including English)
- Have translation experience
- be a Language or Linguistics or Translation Major or minor
- be interested in starting or continuing a career as a translator
- have proficiency in MS Word
- Must have Citizenship/Residency/Work Authorization Card

The job requires to stay late and work some weekends during our busy periods.

We are looking for candidates who are fluent in Chinese/English (Japanese or Korean is a plus)

This is an entry-level position.

This is an in-house, full-time position in our office in Manhattan, NY
