Corporate IT Voice Engineer Job (Shanghai, ShangHai, China)
- Design, deploy, configure and operate various Cisco unified communication products, e.g. Call Manager, Unity Connection, Express gateway, etc.
- Performs advanced remote/on site troubleshooting activities encompassing system design defects, configuration, hardware and/or carrier issues.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis, recommend remediation plan and corrective actions, implementing optimum VOIP options
- Participates, as a key member of the Telecommunications team, in the troubleshooting of core LAN/WAN services required for VoIP deployments including QOS, COS, VLAN, client's and carrier services.
- Interprets network alert and performance management tool output to properly engineer the capacity and resiliency of the VoIP infrastructure.
- Perform change management in accordance with change management procedures.
- Maintain and update voice network diagrams and vendor information for voice network devices.
- Provide On-Call support responsibilities on a rotational basis
