Industrial Designer Job (Shanghai, ShangHai, China)

- 5+ years progressive experience as an industrial designer.

- Track record of delivering 2-D / 3-D conceptualization and CAD deliverables that strongly demonstrate both technical competency and strong creative direction of aesthetics and empathy.

- Demonstrated ability to multitask, manage competing priorities, and work within a structured process.

- Strong communications (written and verbal), negotiation, and problem solving skills.

- Strong level of self-motivation and ability to work independently.

- Expert in the use of visual design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop) and 3-D CAD applications such as Rhino or Pro/E.

- Strong command of the various fabrication techniques and tools necessary to produce full-size or scale models of design solutions. Examples include woodworking, foamcore, plastic / SLA, CNC milling, 3D printing and color studies.
Preferred Qualifications:

In addition to base qualifications:

- Graduate degree in Fine Arts with concentration in Industrial Design or product design equivalent.

- Track record of generating intellectual property.

- Experience working within the consumer electronics devices sectors.

- Experience working within global, cross-functional teams.

- Track record of developing and executing user experiences, which have been realized and launched into market successfully.

- Portfolio demonstrating successful examples of conceptual designs, form and color studies, prototypes, and final commercialized products.
