Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Provide Outcomes Research support across the Asia Region reporting to the Regional Senior Director, Marketing - Swine and Poultry, APAC with dotted line to the Director of Outcomes Research, US Operations.
The Manager, Outcomes Research - APAC under the supervision of the Regional Senior Director, Marketing develops and implements outcomes and economic strategies supporting medical and marketing programs for specific brands within the region.
Support will be mainly focused on Swine and Poultry business with additional support available to Companion Animal and Ruminant opportunities if identified.
Work within a cross-functional team to support overall marketing and sales objectives for the region.
Actively collaborate with countries to demonstrate the economic value of products to our key customers.
Actively collaborate with VMRD and other colleagues to insure access to data.
Qualifications:
Masters degree (MA, MS or MPH) with 3+ years experience in veterinary and/or human health services research, public health, epidemiology, or health economics.
Experience in animal health/agriculture clinical or economic research preferred.
Knowledge and understanding of clinical research, study design and statistical analysis along the continuum of drug development helpful.
Hands on experience in the evaluation of health care interventions and conducting health economics, health related quality of life, and/or health services research studies or in a consulting capacity.
Demonstrated ability to link economic evaluation to identified business needs in order to support marketing and sales objectives.
Excellent interpersonal skills required: ability to understand and respond to multiple internal and external customers with limited supervisory support; ability to influence key members of team effectively.
Excellent oral and written English communication skills required.
An additional Asian language a plus
Excellent project management skills required.
