[Full-time] Account Manager – International Business at Pets at Home

The account manager is a new role to support our business expansion plan via the generation of additional revenue streams. Based in our Asia sourcing office in Kowloon, you will be reporting into the Sourcing Manager, and be responsible for handling the development of Pets at Home Asia’s international business.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and consolidate sales opportunities and provide feedback & suggestion to management and category sourcing teams.
Prepare and deliver quotes and proposals to potential customers in order to achieve the desired business goals & revenue set up for Asia
Implement sales strategies to enhance overall sales
Manage relationship with new and existing customers
Perform marketing research to set the selling price for the overseas market
Design, administer and operate the order process from PO placement through shipping and payment
In-line with the global sourcing plans and ambitions expressed by PAH
Engaging and managing relationship with key stakeholders in PAH UK and Hong Kong offices, lead the functional collaboration within the team

Requirements:
Over 5 years of experience in B2B business development with a global scope
Sound commercial & cultural awareness, with the ability to interact with customers and vendors
Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills
Excellent command of both spoken and written English
Proven successful track record in project management and process improvement
A mix of strategy / planning and execution management
Detail minded with diligence on numbers
University Degree with solid experience in trading is preferred
Willing to travel
Passionate about pets and pet industry is definitely an advantage
German Speaking requirement

Working Experience: above 5 years
