Head of Design

This client is one of the largest multi-national groups in Singapore with its core business in property development and property fund management. With its aggressive business expansion in China, they are now seeking for Head of Design in their head office in Shanghai to manage all the design works (Architectural, Interior, MEP , Structural and landscape Design) for their existing and upcoming luxury residential in China. This position will be responsible for all the design works and will be station in Shanghai.

Responsibilities:

As the Head of Design, you will lead all the Design Directors in different specialism and a team of designers in head office and project cities. You will be responsible for supervise the pre-design concept and present ideas based on the objective, requirement and budget of a project. You may need to communicate with board of director or share holders to explain the project planning stage and the concept of design. You will also required to coordinate with other departments to identify qualified material, equipment, technical appliance and suppliers and draft design contract and tendering documents and organize tendering to identify qualified subcontractors

Requirements:

To apply this position you should have a degree in Architectural with at least 20 years strong design related experience in Design Institutes or International Design Studio; You should be familiar with related regulations and laws and understand the market demand and requirements in real-estate industry.
You must be result-oriented, confident and excellent technical understanding with strong business acumen. Fluency in both written & spoken English and Chinese is also required. This position required to station in Shanghai, China.
