Lead Architect

The client is a leading international engineering company that provides consulting, design, construction, and project management services for corporations with the projects includes in Water; Transportation; Facilities and Infrastructure; Nuclear; Energy and Chemicals; Industrial buildings and Advanced Technology. With the expending in china, they are looking for Lead Architect for the project management team in Shanghai and Wuhan. The candidate with less experience will be considered as Architect.

Responsibilities

• Work as Architectural Lead and be able to lead the Architectural Design Team to complete the projects
• Responsible for design process from conceptual design to construction document including code requirements and the depth of design deliverable
• Well cross-discipline coordination and good communication with the client
• Manage sub-contractors; such as curtain wall, interior and landscape consultants and LDI
• Write technical specifications and required design presentation to the client
• Report to Project Manager

Requirements

• At least 15 years working experience including 6-year’s plus construction document experience
• Experiences of Greenfield project of electronic manufacturing building design and clean-room design are necessary
• Able to travel and stay on construction site to coordinate between design and construction
• Good oral communication and writing in English & Chinese
• Computer software skill: Microsoft office, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop or Illustrator, etc.
