What are we looking for?

We are looking for bright, articulate graduates with excellent written and verbal English skills to work in China. The majority of our clients are based around Hanghzou city in the Zhejiang province. This is a large, young, clean and vibrant city of 8 million people just 1 hour south of Shanghai. There is a large ex-pat community and excellent nightlife. The monthly salary of £700-800 will provide you with plenty of disposable income on top of your accommodation and health insurance.
We need Science graduates who are English first language and who have an interest in teaching abroad. If you have any teaching experience already, that will be desirable.
Please note: you do not need any knowledge of the Chinese language. Any knowledge would be desirable, but is not essential

What will you be doing?

You will teach Science to primary aged children in a Chinese public school. Your job will be funded by the Chinese government. You will teach 15 – 20 hours a week. We have vacancies with primary schools to teach children aged 6 – 12. You will teach a Science curriculum based on the US model.

You will have 11 days public holiday a year and will only work 5 days a week. There are opportunities for promotion and regular teaching training is provided by the schools.

We need people available to start ideally in November/December 2015. The schools will pay for your accommodation and health insurance. Candidates will need to pay for their own flights out to China, which will be reimbursed at the end of the contract
